MittforVeep.com was created by GOP Shoppe for Republicans who believe Mitt Romney would make a great addition to the McCain ticket in 2008. This site and its contents are not associated with either the Romney or the McCain campaigns.
For weeks we have been receiving e-mails, phone calls and letters from Republicans voicing their support for Mitt Romney for Vice President. While there is no way to directly influence the choice for Vice-President, we thought it would be fun to give supporters an indirect way to let their voices be heard.
The strength of the Republican Party is apparent in the long list of qualified Vice Presidential choices. We readily acknowledge that those other choices also have supporters. As Republicans, we believe that no potential choice should be actively opposed or disparaged by loyal Republicans.
While we believe Mitt Romney would be the best choice, we will strongly support whomever Senator McCain chooses.
